If you want to see your first Formula 1 race in 2022, but are unsure of what tickets to get or where to do so, read on. Let us guide you on how to get Formula 1 tickets.
The Miami Grand Prix will make its debut in 2022, and popular events that haven’t been contested since 2019 will return to Australia, Canada, Singapore, and Japan. Formula 1 also unveiled a record-breaking 23-race schedule for 2022. The 2022 campaign starts on March 20 in Bahrain and closes on November 20 in Abu Dhabi.
What types of F1 tickets will be on the market in 2022?
- General Admission: The lowest racing tickets provide track access but no assigned seating. By race, the General Admission offer differs greatly. Other circuits limit you to a narrow standing area or do not allow general admission access, while some provide unrestricted access to various sections throughout the track (often with viewing platforms). Tickets for general admission typically range in price from $100 to $200 USD over three days.
- Seats in the grandstands are what the majority of Formula One fans purchase. Grandstand ticket prices vary depending on the event and the grandstand’s location on the track; typically, the most costly grandstands are those that face the pits at the start-finish line. You may still roam the General Admission sections even if you have a grandstand seat for the weekend. Grandstand tickets typically cost between $300 and $600 USD for three days, while there are additional options that are more affordable and more expensive.
- Trackside hospitality is available with the most costly tickets, and the Formula 1 Paddock Club is the most well-known (and most expensive) hospitality area in Formula 1. The Paddock Club offers spectacular views over the pit lane in the center of the action, high-end hospitality with open drinks, and special perks including daily pit lane walk and driver appearances for about $5000 USD for two or three days of access.
- Experience Packages: F1 Experiences further provides packages that include grandstand seats and access to exclusive trackside events including guided track tours, private pit lane walks, admission to the F1 Paddock, and driver guest appearances. check out here
What is a 3-day pass?
If you purchase a 3-day pass, you are allowed access on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Even if 2-day tickets (Saturday and Sunday) are equally well-liked, the majority of F1 tickets are still sold in this manner. Each day, there will be around two hours of F1 action in addition to support events. At some events, access to trackside concerts by well-known musicians is also included with your ticket.
Are tickets for a single day available?
Most events provide single-day admission, with race day being the most popular and costliest option. However, entry for all three days is frequently not much more affordable than these tickets. Not many races provide Friday and Saturday single-day tickets.
When and how will my tickets be delivered?
It depends on the race, but home-printable electronic tickets are gaining popularity. You must add the cost of shipping to the total amount as some circuits still only offered printed tickets. Although delays are not unusual, you should have your e-ticket or printed ticket long before the race weekend (often approximately 4-6 weeks in advance). There is typically an opportunity to pick up your printed tickets near the track if you don’t want them sent to your home address or will be traveling before the race. So book your tickets today at reasonable prices and enjoy this year’s race on the ground with your friends.
